Whose Standards are They? |
| Workshop + Assessment + Middle School |
| This will be a workshop centered around the question "How can schools develop assessment plans that both reflect the depth of the child's learning and help to raise the standards for the school as a whole and the child as an individual?" A middle school teacher, student advisors and students will present the pros and cons of one story - the development and implementation of the Mission Hill School's graduation standards - and will open the floor to discussion of the effect of assessment tools on student standards and school curriculum. |
