Hornet Prime Time: An Advisory in the Making |

| It has been said that developing an Advisory Program in a traditional high school is one of the hardest changes to make in education. This presentation involves a school that has recently tackled this challenge and succeeded. Leavitt Area High School began an Advisory Program last year, called Hornet Prime Time (HPT). This presentation will tell the story of this work, the outcomes we hoped for, the challenges we encountered and the solutions we found. Participants will hear from staff, students, and administration on the benefits of this program. There will be useful handouts on the logistics of our program and ample opportunity to ask questions. A "must-see" for anyone who intends to begin an advisory program or revamp an exsisting one. |
