Multi-Age Groupings for a School-Wide Theme |
| Workshop + School Design + Elementary School |
| Participants will have an opportunity to see how a small, multi-age school develops and carries out a year-long, school-wide theme. Each individual class explores the various topics relative to its level. Additionally, the entire school breaks up into a variety of groups where children can more deeply explore the common theme. Presenters in this workshop will share the different ways they plan and use flexible groupings to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels. Time will be allowed for brainstorming the possible ways participants can implement a multi-age, flexible grouping process within their own school setting. |
