School Exchange Around School Design C A N C E L L E D |
| Workshop + School Design + High School |
| Attendees of this workshop will participate in the ongoing exchange between two demographically different Colorado high schools around school design. Manual High School, located in inner-city Denver, is predominantly minority and low SES. Steamboat Springs High School, located on the western slope of the Rockies, is mostly white and high SES. Presented by students and faculty from both schools, this workshop will not only increase participant understanding of different school design possibilities, but will also demonstrate the value of exchanges between demographically different schools as a powerful tool for increasing student and teacher understanding of cultural differences and appropriate school design. |
