CFGs and the Culture of Expectation |

| How can we create a "culture of expectation" in our schools instead of a culture of accepted failure from both teachers and students? How can Critical Friends Groups help to create and sustain such a culture? In this session, participants will experience how CFG groups use special protocols to examine student work for the purpose of gaining insight into how students learn, and how teachers can improve their practices to better facilitate that learning. The underlying belief is that, with a little help from their friends, all students can learn and all teachers can teach. |
