Big Ideas, Small Schools: A Conversation about New Small Schools
Facilitator(s): Peter Garbus

Roundtable   +   School Design: structures   +   High School
According to both research and experience, small schools make a big difference to student learning. If we know that results have been positive, what do we know about the specific structures and practices that make these small schools work? This roundtable will focus on asking the "big questions" and exploring the "big ideas" of small schools. The facilitator is the co-director of a new charter school planning to open next fall in north central MA, and has been teaching at a successful small school in the same area. Bring your experiences and your interests, and we will share ideas and resources.
