| Workshop + Leadership: change process + High School |
| Success in school restructuring requires skilled, active leadership from both principals and teachers. This session is designed to arm small schools leaders with some vital tools for strategic and tactical planning. Through interactive discussion, leaders from different schools will help each other assess and plan strategies, and assist one another in developing new tools for planning and designing their new smaller learning communities. Each participant will create a Force-Field Analysis of their own school community and a three-year plan to transform their school. These strategic plans can be used in proposals for federal and foundation grants for high school redesign. |
