Student-Run Exhibitions: How to Get Your Students to Make It Happen
Facilitator(s): Ben Shultis, Emily Johnson

Workshop   +   Classroom Practice: curriculum & instruction   +   High School
Do you want to see your students work more? Do you want to see them work at all? This workshop will give you the tools to make them as busy as bees and keep them buzzing with excitement. This is not an entomology workshop, but an adventure in outlining a student-run exhibition appropriate to your curriculum. Learn how to organize your students into effective committees, teach them to use a communication notebook, enable them to create task timelines, coach them in the creation of grading rubrics, guide them in peer evaluation, and have fun doing it! This workshop will introduce you to the tools and means for successful student-run exhibitions. Join us!
