| Nelson Beaudoin of Leavitt Area High School was selected as Maine's Principal of the Year 2000. In this workshop, Nelson will share his leadership practices and discuss how he works to promote school-wide change. His work is filtered through his belief that a principal should listen more than talk, care more than judge, and understand more than guess. The focus of this presentation will provide participants with an overview of participatory leadership, strategies that effect change, and the challenges facing the contemporary principal. |
