| Roundtable + Classroom Practice: curriculum & instruction + High School |
| Blended teaching, like Frankenstein's monster, is a large, clumsy beast occupying the villager's time and resources; it seems huge, unwieldy, and like something that might end tragically. In this roundtable, we will share tools for instruction and create the spark of animation in our classroom using blended curriculums. Let's deconstruct the monstrous myth about blended (or teamed) teaching, visit a world of blended instruction using a thematic approach to history and literature, involve technology, and explore the class where context is valued over content. Join us in tackling the monster-sized question, "How can one class create more depth in two subjects and bridge three grade levels?" |
