When Every Student Matters: School Leadership for Equity
Facilitator(s): Les Morse, Melissa Kagle

Workshop   +   Leadership: change process   +   Everyone
Serving all students is one of the Common Principles as well as a stated goal of many schools, but providing a rich and successful experience for all students can be a challenge. In this active and participatory session facilitated by a middle school principal and teacher, school leaders will gain tools for promoting a school culture that helps all students to thrive. We will use a case study to illustrate the challenges faced by leaders and present data analysis, questioning techniques, structural changes, and staff development ideas to address school change issues at various levels.
Date/Time: Friday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm   Room: CC 606   Session #114
