Personalized Learning Plans: Creating a Roadmap before the Journey Begins
Facilitator(s): Janet Bucknell

Roundtable   +   Classroom Practice: curriculum & instruction   +   Everyone
We are obligated by law to create individual education plans for our students with special needs. Why not offer the same opportunity to all of our students? Better yet, why not place the responsibility on the shoulders of the student? A Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) does just that! As a participant in this informative and interactive roundtable, you will critique the PLP in use at Sacopee Valley High School and create a PLP which will serve the needs of students at your school. You will also leave this session with an action plan of strategies for implementing PLPs within your school's framework.
Date/Time: Friday, 1:30pm - 2:30pm   Room: Sheraton 422   Session #105
